I first used pencil to give a rough idea of what i was going to do. I decided to use different types of speakers to add varity and to keep the auidience interested.

After i finsihed designing the wall of speakers. I then scanned it into a computer and used the original image to help to draw the finsihed piece. After using the select tool to draw in the outer lines and borders i used a pen brush to fill it in leaving me with outlines. I then created i new layer out agian using the select tool to draw in details. Then i began think about colours and shading of speakers so i went online and began researching speakers to see what colours are used.

From this research i concluded that that speakers have a dark outer casing, with a different colour or darker shade and this inside rings are often ligher colours such as silver. I have tried to replicate this in the colouring by using differnet shading and generally using darker colours for the front of the speakers.

After looking into adding backgrounds into our music video we decided
to redo the background in flash.

| I used the line tool to go around the original lines. I feel this gives a more clear and defined shape to the background. |

| Using flash fill tool i coloured in the shapes. I decided to use different colours as flash offered a wider variety of techniques for colouring. |
By using flash we are able to add different lighting effects at later stages of production create a simple flash animation so that the background becomes more realistic.
why isn't this in the video?! it looks great, maybe it could collapse as the song gets heavier and heavier??!
